Launched in 2012 the Journal of OncoPathology has a simple mission: ''to foster the application of cutting edge tools & medicines to the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of cancer while encouraging greater collaboration between pathologists and clinicians.''

The acceptance rate for Original Articles is 27%.

Subscribers to tJOP receive the print version in addition to online access. Access to tJOP online includes full text of all articles, abstracts and PDFs back to the inagural edition.

Scope of tJOP
The Journal of OncoPathology aims to foster the application of cutting edge tools & medicines to the diagnosis, staging, monitoring and treatment of cancer. The criteria for acceptance are originality and high scientific quality. Manuscripts should be submitted with a letter specifying that the paper is not under consideration for publication elsewhere and that all named authors have agreed to its submission. Papers reporting clinical studies should, where appropriate, contain a statement that they have been carried out with ethics committee approval. Papers disregarding the welfare of experimental animals will be rejected. Studies should be carried out in accordance with the relevant national and local guidelines.
